Machu Picchu conceder as the most famous place in Peru. Also, it is one from seven wonders of world. Machu Picchu is 15th century empire, situated on the top of a mountain at the height of 2430 meters. Machu Picchu also referred as the “Lost city of Incas”. This place was made in 1450, but people leaved this place just after a century, at the time of Spanish conquest. This place remain unknown for world until Hiram Bingham give it the attention in 1911.
Colca is a canyon of Colca River in southern Peru. It is also third most visited place in Peru about 120,000 visitors every year. Also it have the depth of 3270 meters, it is one of the deepest in the world. This place is a home of Andean Condor; this is a great attraction of that place. The La Calera natural hot springs are located at Chivay, the biggest town in the Colca Canyon. Other hot springs, some developed for tourist use, are dotted throughout the valley and canyon.
The Nazca Lines are the series of large ancient geoglyphs in the Nazca Desert, in southern Peru. The largest figure of lines is upto 370 m long. Scholars believe that the Nazca Lines were created by the Nazca culture between 500 BCE and 500 CE. The figures differentiate in designs. Hundreds of them are made up of simple lines and geometric shapes; more than 70 designs are designs of animals like llamas, jaguar birds, fishes, and monkeys, and some are human figures. Other designs include trees and flowers.
This valley also known as Urubamba Valley is located in Valley of Andean Mountains. The historical Sacred Valley is an important tourist destination. In 2013, 1.2 million people, 800,000 of them non-Peruvians, are estimated to have visited Machu Picchu, its most famous archaeological site. Many of the same tourists also visited other archaeological sites and modern towns in the Sacred Valley.
